The pick up will be a water fountain in the center of the Plaza de Armas and ends one block from the Plaza de Armas Cusco

Moray and salt mines of maras half day
8:45 am: Pick up at the main square in Cusco and transfer by vehicle to Chinchero.
9:00 am: Arrival in Chinchero and visit to a textile shop, where you can see how wool is colored with natural products and learn about the process of producing fabrics.
10:00 am: Transfer to Moray.
11:00 am: Arrival in Moray and visit to the Moray Archaeological Complex, where you can see the circular terraces of Inca agriculture, which were used to experiment with different climate conditions and to adapt different varieties of plants to different altitudes.
12:00 pm: Transfer to the Maras Salt Mines, located about 45 minutes from Moray.
1:00 pm: Arrival at the Maras Salt Mines and visit to the mines, where you can see the process of extracting salt and how workers have exploited this natural wealth for centuries.
2:00 pm: Return to the vehicle and transfer back to Cusco.
2:40 pm: Arrival in Cusco and end of the tour.

Our host is very friendly, helpful and informative. Driver is very professional and safe. If we can skip the textile shop and spare more time in Moray to walk and eat there, it will make a better trip. But overall, the value for money is very good.
